Free Wi-Fi for all in city libraries

Published Tuesday, 22 March 2016

Free Wi-Fi is now available for visitors to all city libraries.

The service can be used for as long as people like and is already up and running in 16 of the city’s libraries, with Caludon Castle’s being added over Easter.

It means members of the public with a laptop, tablet or smartphone will be able to connect and open up a world of knowledge and information.

The funding for the new service has come from the Government as part of their aim for all public libraries to offer free Wi-Fi access.

The Wi-Fi Service before was limited to Allesley Park, Bell Green, Central, Foleshill and Willenhall Libraries and limited to two hours.
