Coventry City Council has teamed up with Appy Parking and Nwave to trial an innovative new parking app that will help to make finding an on-street parking space in Coventry simple.
Appy Parking shows available spaces in real time in order to eliminate the need to trawl the city’s streets looking for a gap. It is being trialled on three locations in the city to show on street spaces at New Union Street, Warwick Road and St Johns Street.
The app, which is free to download, will show which spaces are full as well as how much the maximum cost is for your desired length of stay. If the app proves to be a hit it could be rolled out to cover all on street spaces and provide the option for users to pay for parking on their smart phones.
Users can download the free app in the App store or on Google Play - feedback on the app will be welcomed as Appy Parking is in the trial phase of delivery.
