Statement from Coventry’s Interfaith and Communities Forum

Published Wednesday, 30 March 2016

Coventry’s Interfaith and Communities Forum has again condemned yet more terrorist attacks - this time in Lahore.

The forum said that all acts of terrorism should be condemned wherever they are committed.

The forum also said the scale of recent terrorist activities were a cause of great concern among the city’s community leaders.

In a statement, the forum said:“Again we want to share our deepest sympathies with all those – in this case many children - who have lost their lives in Lahore, and the many people who were injured following these terrible events.

“We know that countries near and far have been the victims of these brutal attacks on innocent people and again we want to show our absolute support to everyone affected.

“We also believe it is vital that we all continue to be vigilant in speaking out against, and condemning, acts of terrorism.”
