Children set to discover their arty sides in Coventry libraries this Easter

Published Monday, 03 April 2017

Coventry libraries are offering children the chance to have an arty Easter.

Children, aged 8-11, can earn themselves an Arts Award Discover certificate while trying their hand at fun activities like monoprinting and collage.

They will also get the chance to learn more about artists.

Central Library in Smithford Way is holding two sessions, Tuesday April 11 from 2-5pm and Wednesday April 12 from 2-5pm.

The children will be taking part in a range of activities and to achieve the award they just be able to attend both sessions.

Participants should wear old clothes or bring an old t-shirt as things may get messy!

Arts Award offers children and young people the chance to achieve qualifications in the arts. Arts Award qualifications are managed by Arts Council England and Trinity College London.

Places are limited and booking is required (both sessions need to be attended).
