Statement from Coventry Multi-Faith Forum following the Concert Bombing in Manchester on 22nd May 2017

Published Wednesday, 24 May 2017

"Coventry Multi-Faith Forum is profoundly shocked and dismayed by the deadly explosion at the Ariana Grande Concert in Manchester.

Yet another tragedy has gripped our nation!

We send our sympathy to the families of those who lost their lives in this mindless attack. To the injured, we send our best wishes for a speedy recovery. Manchester, we stand united with you.

This is a trying time for all of us. We condemn this mindless act and hope that it does not create any rifts in our society. Violence has simply no place in civilised society.

Coventry Multi-Faith Forum, made up of representatives from diverse faiths in and around Coventry, undertakes to uphold the values of our faiths and promote harmony."
