The Farmers’ Market returns to Broadgate in Coventry city centre this Friday 16 June and is always popular with shoppers and visitors.
Stalls will be open between 9am and 3pm and market traders will be selling fresh goods that are all sourced from within and close to the local community.
A vast range of products are on offer from the stallholders, including honey, mustard, marmalade, jams, organic meat, sausages and a variety of flavoured rustic farmhouse breads, baguettes and croissants, cheese, pickles, fruit juices and hearty homemade soups, along with fresh organic fruit and seasonal vegetables. There are also mouth-watering take away foods.
The market also includes a fabulous display of owls from a local sanctuary.
Stallholders will also be offering up a wide selection of locally produced wines and beers and all of the goods on offer are farmed within 50 miles of your local region, offering the freshest, tastiest produce available.
By buying local, consumers can help support the local economy and traders as well as reducing their carbon footprint and benefiting from fresh seasonal produce.
