The Boy Who Bit Picasso - performance for schools

Published Thursday, 28 September 2017

Herbert Art Gallery & Museum Thursday 9 November, 11-12.30 or 1-2.30, £7 per child

Come and play down on the farm with Tony and Picasso. We’ll have loads of fun, make crazy pictures and tell the true story of how a young boy became friends with one of the greatest artists who ever lived.

Untied Artists present The Boy Who Bit Picasso, an interactive theatre show for everyone aged four and up. With storytelling, music and lots of chances to make your own art, this hands-on and hilarious show introduces one of the 20th century’s most influential artists through the eyes of a young boy.

“Channels the spirit of the artist…a special and sweet little tale" - The Guardian

This play is perfect for Years  R-3 and can be enjoyed as part of a  wider itinerary that incorporates our current exhibition Picasso: Linocuts from the British Museum and our Patterns & Prints workshop.
