Do you know someone who’s expecting a baby?

Published Monday, 23 October 2017

If so they might be interested to know that on Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd November Coventry Library Services will be hosting Baby Shower events at Willenhall and Tile Hill Library.

The events which have been funded by Public Health and supported by various partner organisations and businesses including Bookstart, Boots, Lush, and NCT Coventry are free to attendees and open to all expectant parents (and their friends and family.)

The events will include fun activities for parents and bumps (with prizes to win), pre and post-natal information, and pampering and relaxation for Mum.

They’ll also be a goody bag for attendees to take away and on the day, and a second goody bag to collect from the library once baby has arrived.

Marie Shipley - Children & Young People's Coordinator said

“Having a baby is a really special time. We were keen to put together events that would give expectant parents the opportunity to come together celebrate, and meet other expecting families, whilst also connecting with some useful services and accessing reliable information.”

“We’d really love to reach a lot of people so we would like to encourage all council officers to share news of these events widely with both their friends and families as well as professional contacts.”

The events will take place at:

  • Willenhall Library – Wed 1 Nov 10am – 2pm
  • Tile Hill Library – Thurs 2 Nov 4:30pm – 6:30pm
