Coventry Cyrenians host annual Christmas Dinner for the homeless

Coventry Cyrenians charity are hosting their annual Christmas Dinner event at the Methodist Hall on 25th December for anyone who is homeless, lonely or vulnerable.

Activities will be running from 11am until 3pm, and dinner is served from 12.30pm until 2.30pm.  

The Coventry Cyrenians charity are appealing for help from the public to support them in providing a meal and a present for every person they welcome. For some of those that attend, this will be their only hot dinner this winter.  

The charity are appealing for socks, chocolate (no nuts), mince pies, toiletries, hats, scarves and clothing. Any donations will be appreciated. 

Any leftover donations from the Christmas Dinner Event will help provide essentials for those that are homeless this winter.  

 The charity also runs a shop on Far Gosford Street. Not only to make money for Coventry Cyrenians, but also to provide valuable work experience and skills for volunteers and the homeless. 

If you wish to make a donation, this can be dropped off at: Oakwood House or Windsor’s and Refreshed. Collection may be able to be arranged (contact donations@coventrycyrenians.org).
