Clear about crystals

Published Thursday, 21 June 2018

Free scientific workshops about crystals and how their properties can be used to make new technology, will take place at Central Library next month.

The hour’s workshop, aimed at those who are 16 or over, will be taken by Dr Monica Ciomaga Hatnean from Warwick University and will allow participants to make crystal structures out of magnetic pieces and learn how to grow crystals.

The workshops will take place on Saturday 14 July at 12.30-1.30 and 2.30-3.30.  Places are limited and should be booked by emailing anne.mcfadden@coventry.gov.uk or calling (024)7683 2552
