There will be a special church service at Holy Trinity church on 30 June to mark Armed Forces Day.
Representatives from Armed Forces Veterans’ organisations will be present and the Lord Mayor will read a passage of scripture.
Lord Mayor, Councillor John Blundell, said: “Everyone is welcome to come and show their support for the members and families of the Armed Forces at the special service. I look forward to seeing many of you there in thanking them for the sacrifices they make daily for our country.’
The service will start promptly at 10.30.
