Week of code sessions coming to Central Library

Published Monday, 03 September 2018

A whole week of events dedicated to coding is coming to Central Library in October.

The events are aimed at a variety of ages and will help people understand new technologies and develop skills.  Some activities include a Lego Labs robotics session, Code and go storytime, Coder Dojo projects and a Code Club workshop for adults.

Councillor Kevin Maton, Cabinet Member for Education and Skills, said:  “It’s great to see the coding Digital Expo coming back to Central Library for a third year and this time it’s even better as there will be events running all week.  These sessions will be popular so we advise that you book ahead if possible.  More information can be found on the Council website or by popping into the library.”

The coding Digital Expo will take place from Saturday 13 – Sunday 28 October in support of EU Coding week.
