Reminder - bin collections

There is no recycled material collection this week. All recycling (blue lidded) bins will be collected next week, w/c 9 January.
Crews are this week emptying household waste(green lidded bins). Streetpride crews have been alerted to clear up any spillages from bins that have blown over in the high winds. However, to help keep the streets clean, please could we ask residents to not present their blue lidded bins until their scheduled collection day next week and to bring their bins back in as soon after collection as possible to avoid them blowing over into the road or causing an obstruction.
A couple of other useful reminders:
- Christmas trees can be taken to the Household Waste Recycling and Re-use Centre on London Road for composting or alternatively they can be left next to the recycling banks in the War Memorial Park, and Park and Ride up until Sunday evening, 8 January.
- All blue lidded recycling bins will be emptied next week, after this they will return to their fortnightly routine, households can check on their normal collection day by looking at their recycling calendar (which was attached to the Christmas leaflet) or by going to www.coventry.gov.uk/bindays
