Got a new computer for Christmas?
Thursday 5 January 2012
For many people the thought of using a computer is very frightening, and yet it is easy when you have help and guidance.
With a few lessons you could be sending your family an email, looking for directions, checking the weather, shopping online, looking up your family history, booking a holiday, finding a recipe, checking the news, seeing what your family are up to on Facebook.
Coventry Libraries have computer classes running every week - and they are free!
GO-ON Computer sessions
Uses the national online learning portal http://www.go-on.co.uk/ where modules teach people useful internet skills such as shopping online, using Facebook, accessing government services etc. For users with very basic IT skills there are even tutorials on using a mouse or keyboard. Provided in association with FWT. To find out more or book, ring Tirth at FWT on 024 7663 7693.
