Social Care users given chance to have their say

More than a thousand surveys have been sent to Coventry residents to find out what they think about the adult social care services they receive.
Almost 6,000 people across the city use a wide range of different services ranging from helping people with disabilities to home meals and occupational therapy.
The confidential questionnaire will be sent to 1,029 randomly selected people that access adult social care services.
It has been sent as a requirement by the Department of Health and feedback from the 25 question survey will be used to evaluate and potentially shape future services.
Councillor Joe Clifford, Coventry City Council's Cabinet Member for Health and Community Services, said views from users were essential in ensuring services delivered were what people need.
"We are always striving to ensure that services people access are the best they can be which is why feedback from users is so important," he said.
"If you get a survey form over the next few weeks, please take some time to complete and return it - you'll be helping our work to deliver services to you over the next few years."
