Last chance to bag London 2012 city souvenir for donation to Lord Mayor's charity
Monday 22 October 2012
Anyone interested in getting their hands on the final items of Coventry's London 2012 city dressing memorabilia should come along to the Council House reception next Saturday (27th October).
Hundreds of members of the public queued up in Millennium Place last Sunday for the banners which had been displayed in the city, with £1,038 raised for the Lord Mayor's charity. The remaining banners and bunting will be on sale again for £5 each with proceeds to the Lord Mayor's charity, between 8am and 12 noon on Saturday 27 October, in the Council House.
The Lord Mayor, Councillor Tim Sawdon, said: "The is the last chance to get a unique souvenir of Coventry's part in the London 2012 games and all of the proceeds are going to the Heart of England, my nominated charity for this year."
