From the various options on this page you will be able to view planning data and information held by the Council. There is also help, guidance and links to related planning procedures and topics. Not all the information held on our public files is currently available from this site but we are continuously adding data and aiming to widen the range of information available over the coming months. For example at this moment we are not able to provide details about planning enforcements relating to a particular property or site.

The information that is available will be more complete for some applications than others. In general terms the older the application the less information that is directly available to view from the record screens. Full information is generally only available for those applications dating from the year 2000. However we are currently attaching to every record the original application documentation and decision notice and you will be able to view these documents by clicking on the appropriate link in due course.

You will be able to view all current or historical applications dating back to 1948. To search for an application that may interest you, please use the link application search. This facility enables searching by a variety of fields enabling you to identify individual applications or groups of applications depending on your search criteria. Where an application is current then comments on that application can be made direct to the case officer.

The Planning News section will provide information on major planning applications that have recently been publicised in the local newspaper and have still to be determined. General lists of all applications that have been received and determined over the last 12 weeks can be viewed in the Planning Applications section under Weekly List.
