Our structure
Today Coventry has 18 wards, with each represented on the Council by three Councillors. Our political management structure is that of a Leader with a Cabinet administration.
New executive arrangements
Coventry City Council at its meeting on 23 February 2010 agreed to adopt a Leader and Cabinet (England) form of Executive under the Local Government Act 2000 (as amended), with effect from 9 May 2010. Full details of the new executive arrangements are now available.

Scrutiny Board Reviews take place when councillors are concerned about a particular issue in the city.
