The Job Shop The Job Shop

Having problems with your application? Or maybe just want to make sure it's the best it can possibly be? The Job Shop is a Council-run service offering one-to-one support to those looking for a little extra help in their job search. They provide a wide range of support to all Coventry residents, of all ages, who are looking for work. The skilled team offer friendly, helpful advice, from reviewing CVs, to providing support with transport costs and all things work-related.

They are open Monday to Friday, 9.15am (Thursdays 10.30am) to 4.30pm.

Training and progression

TrainingWe're always looking to invest in our people whenever we can, helping them grow and develop in their roles. We want those who join us to stay for a long time and hopefully progress higher within the Council. As well as training and development opportunities, we also offer the chance to do secondments and explore different areas of the Council - helping you find the exact role to suit you.
