Team Coventry
The International Children’s Games was hosted in Coventry in 2022 and was a huge success with more than 70 cities worldwide attending and competing. This year the Games is due to take place in Daegu, South Korea. After Team Coventry’s success last year, there will be a team of 18 athletes from the city heading over to compete in up to three sports of our choice.
Team Coventry placed second overall with 25 medals including gold, silver and bronze.
Be a part of Team Coventry
One of the sports that Team Coventry will be competing in is table tennis.
There will be a try-out session for this sport on:
Wednesday 1 March at 6.30pm at Hereward College, Bramston Cres, Tile Hill, Coventry CV4 9SW.

Eligibility:
- Must live at a Coventry address that pays council tax to Coventry City Council
- Commitment to individual and team fundraising initiatives
- Willingness to travel to Daegu, South Korea between 05/07/2023 – 11/07/2023
- Written approved absence from school for dates of travel
- Hold a valid passport with an expiry date not before 05/01/2024
- Must be 12 years or over on 1 January 2023 and still be 15 years old or less, on 31 December 2023
- This sport is open to boys only.
