Low Level Equipment Training - Adult Social Care training and development

This training will then render you competent to order the aids / adaptations that are specified within this training.

Demonstrate available aids that can be ordered by CCW’s and Social work staff members and under what circumstances these can be ordered

• why and when you would or would not order low-level aids and adaptations
• the general purpose of aids and adaptations
• The guidance around provision of aids and adaptations
• some of the risks associated with aids and adaptations
• how to assess for low-level aids and adaptations
• the specific advantages, disadvantages and risks around the aids and adaptations that you can order
• The ordering processes
