Reason for felling
Following a recent inspection of trees in this area, a single Maple tree, recorded as 0NY0 in Coventry City Council's Tree Risk Management Programme, is exhibiting signs of decline/decay within its trunk/ basal region and no longer suitable for this location. Although trees are overwhelmingly beneficial for us, and our landscape, they can also create problems; "Wrong tree wrong place" or alternatively, their condition. Therefore, Coventry's Urban Forestry Service is acting now to remove and replace this tree based on its current declining condition.
