The site is situated immediately north of Coventry City Centre accessed off Abbotts Lane with a secondary access road off Upper Hill Street to the south west and occupies a prominent and highly visible location adjoining the Coventry inner ring road (A4053) and is situated in a mixed use area comprising traditional terraced houses, some commercial uses and a community fire station. It is located within walking distance of Coventry City Centre and is approximately 0.6 miles to the west of Coventry University.
CDP has been working closely with Coventry City Council and other stakeholders to bring forward wider plans to extend the route to the north to Naul’s Mill Park and south to the Belgrade Plaza, improving the permeability of the area which is currently largely inaccessible by foot.
