How to Apply for a Permit

The Ricoh Arena Residents' Permit Scheme is a digital permit scheme. Known as MiPermit, the scheme is paperless and operates in a similar way to the car tax system.

In order to apply for a digital permit, residents will need to either:

Register online on the Coventry MiPermit portal
Register by phone, by calling 0345 520 7007.
In order to complete the registration, residents will need the following information:

Council Tax reference number
Full postal address including postcode
Vehicle registration number.

Please be aware that only residents that live within one of the 7 parking zones, and their visitors, are allowed to park within the parking zones on match and event days. These vehicles will need a digital permit to show they are allowed to park there.

If you need to register a visitor outside of the MiPermit opening hours, please call 024 7683 4367.

Additional Information

Parking within the residents' parking zone on a major event day

If you wish to park in the area on a major event day then you must make sure that your vehicle has a valid digital permit.
You do not have to have a digital permit if you are parked on your own drive.

A permit does not allow you to park on yellow lines during their time of operation.

A permit cannot guarantee a parking space but it will give you permission to park in your zone without being ticketed on a major event day.
