How to Apply for a Permit

In order to apply for a digital permit, residents will need to either:

Register online on the Coventry MiPermit portal
Register by phone, by calling 0345 520 7007.
In order to complete the registration, residents need the following information:

Council Tax reference number
Full postal address including postcode
Vehicle registration number.
Residents can purchase a residents' permit for any car registered to their property up to a maximum of three. They can also purchase up to three visitor permits. All permits cost £20 and last for three years.

Please note that visitor permits are transferable. You can change the car they are allocated to by either logging into your online account or calling 0345 520 7007.

Additional Information

The Permit Zone in Benedictine Road has now been extended to include Nos 54-104 evens and Nos 47-91 odds).

Permit Renewal

You will get a reminder email 1 month before your permit is due to expire. To renew your permit you need to do so by logging into your online account or by calling 0345 520 7007. With the renewal of Paper Visitor Permits, the process is exactly the same. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset this on the login page.
