Course details

To support people in management roles to:

  • understand the aims of Motivational Interviewing
  • increase understanding of the values and principles which underpin MI
  • develop familiarity with key skills of MI, including Open ended questions, Affirmations, Reflections and Summaries
  • support staff to reflect upon their use of MI skills
  • identify how MI skills might be useful in a supervision context
