On Thursday 2 May 2019, the city will vote for councillors to represent them on the City Council. 18 out of the 54 seats on the City Council will be up for election. Candidates' details will be published after 4 April, once nominations close.
Elections were held in the Allesley, Keresley and Finham Parish areas to elect Parish Councillors. All three contests were uncontested and therefore all candidates were elected unopposed.
All electors who are currently registered and are eligible to vote should have received a poll card. If you haven't had a poll card, you can contact the elections office helpline to check your registration status. The helpline number is 024 7683 3034.
If you've recently moved or turned 18, you may not be registered. You can register at www.gov.uk/registertovote. Unfortunately the deadline to register in time for the 2nd May election has now passed..
The results will be published online during the count process which takes place overnight on 2 May and the early hours of 3 May.
If you have a comment or complaint about the City Council's running of the elections, you should refer them to the Council's online complaints form.
If you have a complaint or issue about a candidate, agent or campaigner and you think that electoral malpractice has taken place, you should report this online.
