  • Location: Allesley Park Walled Garden, Allesley Hall Drive, Allesley Park, Coventry, CV5 9AD
  • Time: 10:30 - 16:00
  • Cost: FREE

This 18th century walled garden set in 52 acres of historic parkland was constructed during the reign of George III.

Hod 25 2019

It has been partly re-created by a group of volunteers producing chemical-free food for its monthly markets and also serves as an educational resource for local schools, local universities and the community including those with mental and physical disabilities. Not least a team of regular gardeners enjoy working within the enclosed environment of its historic walls. Through growing flowers, fruit and vegetables the Allesley Park Walled garden group offers visitors a special gardening experience.
The weekend theme is A Georgian House and Garden. There will be a children's adventure trail and new bee friendly garden including composting and a wormery.

Saturday there is a market with craft stalls, home baked cakes etc and Sunday will feature guided tours, food produced from the garden and competitions.

Tours will be available each day as required - meet at the Welcome stall.
