Holy Cross Church Open Day - Heritage Open Days 2019

14 September 2019
  • Location: Church of Holy Cross St. Austell Road Coventry West Midlands CV2 5AE
  • Time: 10:00 - 16:00
  • Cost: FREE

July 27th this year celebrates the 80th anniversary of Holy Cross Church's dedication as a place of worship.

Hod 25 2019

Come and see an exhibition of how the church has evolved over the years in response to the changing times.

Visitors will see a presentation of photos from the church's distant past (when it was known as Holy Cross Hall Church) up to its current configuration as a multipurpose building. Also a display of vestments, baptism, marriage & funeral registers along with photo albums to peruse over a cup of tea or coffee whilst listening to a quiet background mixture of contemporary and traditional hymns. Members of the congregation will try to answer any questions you have about our heritage or current activities.

We would especially love to hear your stories about past life at Holy Cross. Did you come to Sunday School here, or perhaps you were brought for baptism? Attended a wedding or funeral? Were you a brownie or guide? Why not come and share your memories?
