Applying for building regulations

Building control system

Belgrade Plaza hotel.

The Building Control system makes sure that buildings are designed and built for the health, safety, welfare and convenience of people using them.

What building owners are required to do

Building owners have to carry out work in a way that follows the requirements set out in both the Building Act and Building Regulations.

These are made in the interest of public health, safety, welfare, convenience and for the conservation of energy. We can help you meet the standards by giving you advice, checking plans and inspecting building work.
