Routes 2 strapline

Routes2 is for people in Coventry aged between 15 and 24 who are unemployed or inactive and are looking for help to reach their potential.

Routes2 will also help you find and sign up for a range of other programmes and courses open to young people in Coventry.

Routes2 can support you in several ways, including:

  • developing key life skills, including literacy and numeracy
  • advice with money, health and wellbeing
  • vocational learning in subjects like hairdressing, childcare and ICT
  • access to apprenticeships, work experience and volunteering placements
  • skills development courses
  • specialist support to help you get a good quality job.

Who we work with

Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce Training
Can help you build your skills through short courses in various subjects, leading on to traineeships and apprenticeships.

New Start 4U
Will support you with employability, motivational and confidence building workshops and career advice and guidance.

Will support you through the 5 step 'Pinpoint, Stimulate, Emerge, Evolve and Sustain' structured employability programme.

The Job Shop, Coventry City Council
Supports you with workshops and one to one employment support, plus can help you to apply for jobs and placements with local employers.

The Prince's Trust
The Mosaic and Achieve mentoring programmes provides you with the confidence, skills and motivation to move onto your next steps.

Work Related Learning, Coventry City Council
Provides you with access to vocational learning delivered by a range of providers. In addition, you will be provided with enhanced literacy and numeracy support plus advice and guidance.

Working Actively to Change Hillfields
Can support you with a weekly jobs club, CV preparation, interview techniques and completing job application forms. In addition, Hillz FM delivers an 'Introduction to Radio' programme that is popular with young people.
