72016: Workshop Operative

Salary: £12 - £13 Per Hour
Hours: Full-Time
Location: Leamington CV34

Vacancy Details: 

The role will be mainly workshop based, and you will be required to assist members of our team in-house to produce bespoke metal fabrications.

  • Good practical skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and have the initiative to work alone.
  • An interest or experience with metalworking and welding would be beneficial
  • The ability to work to a good level of quality
  • Be punctual and reliable
  • Pro active and positive attitude
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Ability to abide to health and safety requirements  
  • Support the welders and Engineers in manufacturer
  • Grinding and polishing of welds to a very high standard including graining of stainless steel to specific grit finish required for food and pharmacutical clients (Training will be given)
  • Cutting and de-burring of stock materials and preparing them for welding
  • Marking out and drilling holes
  • Take deliveries
  • Maintain a tidy workshop environment, sweeping up, including waste management as required
  • Driving a counterbalance forklift to load and unload deliveries (Current License not essential and candidate can be put on a course)
  • Load and pack goods for delivery
  • Support fitters on installations
  • Drive the company vehicles, and assist with collections and deliveries
  • Support other team members as required
  • Other duties as required, including labouring in our yard & workshop  

72015: TIG Welder

Salary: £31,000 - £38,000 Per Annum
Hours: Full-Time - 39 hours per week
Location: Leamington CV34

Vacancy Details: 
A very experienced and skilled TIG welder who can deal with bespoke and one off fabrications.
The main focus for this position is stainless steel TIG welding.  
Read drawings
Create cutting lists from manufacturer drawings
Identify parts on parts list
Debur, drill, fold, roll, weld and grind and polish to a very high standard.
Be capable of TIG welding stainless steel and steel.
Experience with aluminium would be advantageous.
A basic knowledge of MIG welding
Advantageous to be skilled in operating a press brake, sheet metal guillotine, sheet metal rolls, drill press etc. • Purge welding processes  

Ideally you should have at least 10 years' experience and be competent with stainless steel box section frameworks such as:

  • Tooling trolleys for the food and pharmaceutical industries
  • Stainless steel water tanks
  • Food/dairy processing pipework
