At the entrance to the Gardens of Remembrance you will find the ivy walled Columbarium, which looks out upon the lily pond.
We have niches of various sizes. Although caskets of cremated remains are held in a niche, they are the responsibility of the leaseholder. Sometimes a surviving partner or relative will keep the cremated remains of their loved one in a niche until they can be scattered or buried together. On the face of the niche cover there is room for an inscription to remember your loved one/s. These niches are only available at the Canley Garden Cemetery and Crematorium,
At the end of the lease we will contact you and offer the option, for a further fee, to extend the lease. Alternatively the cremated remains can be scattered or interred as you wish.
The remaining walls and pillars of the columbarium are covered in marble and inscriptions are carved into the stone face.
A wall in the chapel of remembrance is dedicated to Leather Recordia Plaques.
These plaques are black leather and inscribed in gold lettering. The plaques are secured in a cherry wood frame. You can remember your loved one with their name and two further lines to place a personal tribute.
