We are offering a new product which combines the identification of environmental legislation (requirement 6.1.3 of ISO 14001) and an evaluation of compliance with environmental regulations (requirement 9.1.2. of ISO 14001).
If you already receive our environmental legal register, we can add the compliance section to the document following a site visit. This option is cheaper than if you have a compliance audit separately.
If you do not currently subscribe to our register of environmental legislation, we can produce the 'combined' document from one site visit.
The register of environmental legislation is hyperlinked throughout and a separate compliance report can be printed if necessary.
Paul Andermahr of Meggitt Thermal Systems subscribes to the Combined Register of Environmental Legislation and Compliance and had this to say about the service:
I have worked with Coventry City Council for many years to ensure our site is aware of and conforms to current Environmental legislation. Not only does this involve Coventry City Council auditing our site on an annual basis but they also provide a quarterly up-dated Register of Environmental Legislation specific to our site requirements.
Initially the site audit results and the Register of Environmental Legislation were treated as two separate items. However, Coventry City Council had the foresight to combine these two documents into one complete document thus allowing easier and faster cross referencing of information as well as retaining all information in one location, which is a huge advantage when undergoing external audits, for example, an ISO14001 audit via BSI.
In addition, there have been no non-conformances raised by external auditors for several years now even though we are audited twice yearly. This highlights the organisation and control of data and hence some credit must be given to the Coventry City Council documentation for these exceptional results.
