COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Pest Control services are now running – for treatments for infestations of rats and mice in domestic gardens and inside households.

If you believe you have an infestation of rats or mice that needs treatment; please contact Pest Control on 024 7683 2658 (this service is still not available to book online).

Pest controllers will be following the latest Government guidelines regarding social distancing during their visits. Please:

  • keep any children or pets in a separate room to which the pest controllers enter.
  • keep two metres distance between yourself and the pest controller during the visit.
  • if you have symptoms of COVID-19 do not book an appointment until you are clear from symptoms.
  • if you have been abroad and are adhering to the Government guidelines regarding a 2-week quarantine period upon your return - you will need to book your appointment slot for after you have completed your quarantine period.

We will deal with pests that are harmful to Public Health and wellbeing. Our staff our fully qualified and hold either the Royal Society of Health in Pest Control or the British Pest Control Association certificates, Levels 1 and 2.

All our staff are fully trained, experienced and use the latest equipment. Discretion is assured as we use unmarked vans.

How to book

All appointments are to be made by calling 024 7683 2658, between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday to Thursday and between 9am and 4.30pm on a Friday. Payment is to be made during the booking, using a debit or credit card.


Discounts are available if people are in receipt of Council Tax Support. The officer will ask for proof of this when they visit.

The Council does not treat bees. If a treatment is booked for wasps and it is bees, we do not refund the cost of the treatment.
