Charterhouse Priory development
Coventry City Council is working in partnership with the Historic Coventry Trust on the development of the Charterhouse Priory and the surrounding parkland.
This project focuses on the restoration of the Grade 1 listed former Carthusian monastery and create a visitor attraction, educational centre, café and community space and a small wedding and events venue. The plans are part of a wider project that will create a 70 hectare Heritage Park in Coventry including the Charterhouse, Charterhouse Fields, London Road Cemetery and River Sherbourne which will make a significant difference to the city’s heritage.
