The Coventry Pledge is a set of promises made to children and young people who are in the care of the Council, regardless of where you live. It is a commitment from the Council and our partner agencies to make sure that you can reach your full potential and enjoy the same opportunities in life as your friends.
All local authorities must have a Children's Pledge. Coventry's version has six themes:

- Your views count
- Safe and sound
- Investing in your future
- You can do it
- Coventry cares about you.

The Coventry Pledge was developed after talking and listening to looked after children, care leavers and the professionals who work with you. We would like you to get involved in monitoring how the council and partner agencies perform against the Pledge. The Voices of Care Council has been set up to help make sure that your voice is heard.
