First Aid at Work certificate course

This is a three-day course will enable delegates to have a better understanding of emergency first aid at work.

Target group

The course is aimed at any employee/volunteer within the workplace which demands cover from a First Aider with a current First Aid at Work Certificate. Volunteers should be calm, reliable and have the aptitude and ability to cope with a course of study. They should be able to leave their place of work immediately to attend an emergency.  

Outcomes of the course

Delegates will be able to identify an emergency, ensure the safety of themselves a casualty or the public, assess the extent of an injury or illness, summon appropriate help, perform lifesaving skills, prevent a casualty’s condition from deteriorating, promote recovery of a casualty, recognise the legal requirements and responsibility of an appointed person.
