Promoting Independent Living Service (PILS)

PILS offers supported living options for adults with a Learning Disability; these range from 2 years enabling support and Core Cluster options to individual 1:1 support to tenants 24 hours per day

Learning Disability Day Opportunities

All the Learning Disability Day opportunities are about personalised support for people to grow, develop, socialise, to stay stimulated as well as offering family carers a break from caring responsibilities.

Brandon Wood Farm (BWF)

Brandon Wood Farm is a day opportunity located on the border of Coventry and Warwickshire. We have a small number of large and small breed animals that service users are supported to care for each day.  The farm also has a number of gardened areas that service users tend and grow vegetables, fruits and plants.  We support people that may not be able to access community activities due to their complex needs, autism and behaviours that challenge. Due to our unique setting we are able to provide the space and tranquillity to people who are sensitive to sensory overload.

Wilfred Spencer Centre (WSC)

Offering Day Opportunities for people with a LD and a variety of needs. There is an emphasis on accessing community activities and integrating into local settings

Gosford Community Hub (GCH)

Offering day opportunities to adults with Profound, Multiple and Learning Disabilities (PMLD).

The Community Zone

Offers support to people with moderate to severe Learning Disability and additional behavioural issues. To support people in having a meaningful day accessing a variety of activities within the local community and our centre.

Jenner8 (including Learning Disability Promoting Independence Pathway)

Jenner8 operates a centre less service; fully linking people to community opportunities around learning, work and leisure - promoting individuals to be as independent as possible and linked to real opportunities in the city.

Maurice Edelman House (MEH)

Maurice Edelman House offers residential and respite care to adults with Learning Disability and complex needs.
The residential offers 11 beds; the respite unit has 5 ground floor beds; we currently offer carers breaks to about 36 customers and their families.
Shift patterns: This is a 24/7 service so we offer a range of shifts including; morning, afternoons, evenings and night shifts. We can offer a range of shifts that could suit your personal circumstances and we will be flexible where we can.  

Maymorn Day Centre

Maymorn Centre offers support to people with a diagnosis of Dementia, the centre encourages the service users to take part in meaningful activities throughout the day whilst ensuring they are in a safe environment. Delivering personal care when required.  

Gilbert Richards Day Centre

Offers support to predominantly older adults who attend the centre to socialise and take part in planned activities. Delivering personal care when required.

Housing with Care (HWC)

Housing with Care is a domiciliary care service that provides personal care and support to tenants living in single or double tenancy occupied premises belonging to Citizen Housing Group in six units across the city.
Housing with Care adopts the vision that all Adults, are supported to live as independently as possible, to be able to lead fuller lives, promoting choice, control and independence at home.
Our day service works from 7am until 10pm Monday to Sunday on a rota basis to include alternate weekends all year round.

Eric Williams House

Eric Williams House is a home that supports up to 43 individuals with some form of diagnosed dementia.  The home has 33 permanent beds and 10 short stay pathway beds.  As a team we are looking to lead the way forward in dementia care forcing on the butterfly model of dementia care and ways of using technology to support this.
Person centred tailored care is a fundamental part of Eric Williams House values, we as a team work with a range of professionals and families to build up personalised care for individuals, knowing that it is the small things that make such a difference to a person’s day and care.

Shift patterns

This is a 24/7 service so we offer a range of shifts including; morning, afternoons, evenings and night shifts. We can offer a range of shifts that could suit your personal circumstances and we will be flexible where we can.  

We operate a static rolling rota where you will be required to do early and late shifts including working every other weekend and bank holidays.
