Benefits and Covid-19 (coronavirus) - customer information

Temporary changes to the service we provide

Due to the Coronavirus (COVID 19) and the instruction from the Government to reduce public contact, customers should not attend our Customer Service Centre in Broadgate House to provide evidence to support their Housing Benefit or Discretionary Grant claim.

Where we have requested original evidence, we will now accept a photocopy by post or a photograph of the document attached to an email. 

Any documents requested as evidence for Housing Benefit/Council Tax Support should be sent either by email, quoting your benefit/claim reference number to: benefits@coventry.gov.uk

Or by post, ensuring that your benefit/claim number and your name and address are included, to:

Evidence requested for Discretionary Grants, such as Crisis, Community Support Grants or Discretionary Housing Payments should be emailed to: DGAteam@Coventry.gov.uk
