Easing of lockdown
The government has published the ‘COVID-19 Response - Spring 2021’ setting out the roadmap for England. This explains how the restrictions included in this guidance will be lifted over time.
Step 1 of the roadmap out of lockdown has now taken place. The ‘stay at home’ rule ended on 29 March - and up to 6 people or 2 households can meet outside. Shielding ended on 31 March.
Although this news is welcomed by us all, everyone still needs to play their part by following the current rules and guidance in order to get there. If we don’t do this, the relaxation of rules is less likely to happen. Only by working together can we make a difference and reduce the spread of coronavirus in Coventry.
