Registering to vote

I have no fixed address, can I register to vote?

If you have no fixed address you can still register to vote.  You will need to make something called a 'declaration of local connection' to show that you are connected to and spend time at a particular place. You can only do this for one place.

If you want to register through a declaration of local connection you will need to do so you will need to provide your date of birth and National Insurance number.
You can access the relevant form to register at www.electoralcommission.org.uk/i-am-a/voter/people-no-fixed-address or by contacting 024 7683 3034.
