"Blazing a trail is what being an apprentice is all about and will be our theme for National Apprenticeship Week 2019. Because that’s what’s happening up and down the country – apprentices and employers blazing a trail.
I want everyone to recognise the change that apprenticeships can bring – for employers blazing a trail to new markets, apprentices to new career opportunities and for colleges and training providers raising the skills levels for everyone” - Anne Milton, Apprenticeships and Skills Minister
It’s the 12th annual National Apprenticeship Week which runs from 4 to 8 March 2019 and this week is a great opportunity to highlight the fantastic opportunities apprenticeships bring.
We have a diverse apprenticeship programme which offers a range of vocational apprenticeships at different levels. Throughout this week you will hear from apprentices past and present showcasing their experiences and letting you in to a ‘day in the life’ of a Coventry City Council apprentice. It will give you a real insight into what apprenticeships can offer.
The Apprenticeship Team is available to discuss any queries you may have whether you are looking to start out in your career or change direction. Hopefully the blogs will show that apprenticeships are for everyone.
For any queries please contact firstname.lastname@example.org – we look forward to hearing from you.
