Free family cycling event returns this Sunday

This Sunday (8 September) from 11am – 3pm, thousands of people will take to the streets of Coventry on their bikes for the free cycling festival HSBC UK Let’s Ride.

The traffic free route will again include a circuit of the ring road and family-friendly, fun activities taking place in the festival zones at Broadgate and University Square. If you don’t have a bike you can hire one on the day with photo ID.

In Broadgate:

  • Free bike checks from Dr Bike
  • Extreme Mountain Bike Show
  • Bike hire for adults and children
  • Live entertainment on the main stage
  • A Q&A with Shanaze Reade, former BMX champion and West Midlands Cycling and Walking Ambassador
  • Face painting and bib personalisation

University Square:

  • Bike security marking by Safer Travel Police
  • Circus Skills workshops
  • HSBC UK Go-Ride skills course

Council House:

  • Wheels for All adapted bikes
