Join us this Sunday 15 September for the last of this year’s Bands in the Park events with the fabulous City of Coventry Brass providing the entertainment in the beautiful Caludon Castle Park.
The FREE event takes place from 2pm to 3.30pm and coincides with Heritage Open Days taking place throughout the city from 13-22 September. There will also be a display about the history of the park and castle as well as the usual great music.
Formed in 1965, City of Coventry Brass has been known as 'Coventry School of Music Band', and 'Coventry Centre for the Performing Arts Band'. The band has a wide repertoire, and has toured the UK and Europe extensively, playing in concerts, radio and TV broadcasts, and competing at National and European level.
The Rangers have a limited amount of chairs available for FREE at the event. Alternatively, bring your own so you can sit, relax and enjoy the music and atmosphere.
Marker posts have been installed across many of the parks in the city to encourage people to improve their health and take a little exercise so why not try it for yourself while at the park and see how far you can walk?
Even though the Bands in the Park events will have finished for another year there are still plenty of reasons to get out and about in Coventry's lovely parks at any time of year.
