Eat The Stars workshops

Published Wednesday, 16 October 2019

School workshops available with Spectra. Boost expressiveness, increase self-esteem and have a truly inclusive, invigorating experience.

The Herbert Art Gallery & Museum are very excited to be working with Spectra, a performance project for people with learning disabilities, to showcase Eat The Stars which is an immersive world of sight, sound, smell, touch and taste.

Spectra are offering schools the chance to access one-off workshops in the weeks leading up to the show (primarily Monday 9 December - Thursday 12 December but they can also do the week before). The workshops will be bespoke to each group and adaptable to any age, setting or ability. They will focus on the themes of the show, looking at creative exercises we've used in the studio to make the show. They will be fun too!
