Coventry's Christmas lights were switched on in Broadgate last night, as thousands turned out to see the start of the festive countdown.
The show started at 5pm and was packed full of Coventry performers, showcasing the talent in the city as it builds to 2021 and its year as UK City of Culture.
There were performances from the Council Choir and University Hospital Voice Squad, the Coventry Young Ambassadors Choir, Freeman Dance, Strictly Christmas, a HALO Glow Light Show and lots more.
Father Christmas joined the Lord Mayor to perform the switch-on as part of a dazzling light show.
