Published Monday, 24 February 2020

On March 28, Greentea Peng will be performing an intimate gig in Coventry’s Central Library.

Greentea peng

The artist, whose real name is Aria Wells, will be arriving in Coventry as part of her new headline tour.

Her live shows have been celebrated for their ‘energy, sincerity, love and funk’ (MTV) and she herself has been described as the ‘Psychedelic soul songstress’.

The artist was also recently named in both NME’s 100: Essential new artists for 2020 and in The Guardian’s 20 for 2020: unmissable culture and rising stars.

The gig, which is part of the Get It Loud in Libraries project, is a brilliant opportunity to hear a truly unique talent who is on the verge of a major breakthrough.

Get it Loud in Libraries aims to get young people who love music into libraries to see live music. Greentea Peng is following in the footsteps of artists including IDLES, Phoebe Green and The Big Moon – all Loud in Libraries artists that have taken to the stage at the Coventry Central Library.

Tickets for Greentea Peng cost £9 and are available online via See Tickets.
