Laser cutter needed to help with visor donation

Published Monday, 06 April 2020

The Council is appealing for help from any city business or organisation with a laser cutting machine.

A non-profit organisation called Broken Souls has said it is able to help source visors for care home workers, but some help is needed.

The visors come with wipeable head bands and are just what we need.

There is an online video that shows how to make the masks, and the Council is keen to find local businesses, colleges or organisations that are willing to help.

Two companies in Leicestershire are helping with materials, but to satisfy demand, more help with cutting is needed.

If you can help, or know of someone who can, please email [email protected]‚Äč
