Children and Young Person Advice Helpline number to support crisis intervention and prevent mental health crisis

Our partners at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT) have developed a helpline to support children and young people through the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.

Rise, the Children and Young People's Specialist Mental Health service in CWPT have ,with the current Crisis team, worked together to develop the response for children and young people.

If you are calling between the hours of 8am and 8pm please call the Warwickshire and Coventry Children’s Crisis Team on 024 7664 1799.

If you are calling between the hours of 8pm and 8am please call the Warwickshire and Coventry Crisis Team on 024 7693 8000.

When a young person calls the mental health clinician who they speak to will ask some questions to help understand their feelings and emotions to help understand how to best help and make sure that they get the right support.
